Tips For A Successful Home Showing
When you're selling your home and you're getting ready for a showing, here's some tips to make sure you're successful.
- Declutter all the living spaces and put your personal items away. This includes the countertops with any kind of small appliances or toiletries. Put those away in the cabinets.
- Take care of any minor repairs before the showing including covering any kind of cracks, replacing light bulbs, or repairing some of those broken or ripped screens.
- Enhance the curb appeal of your home by cutting the grass, trimming the bushes, adding in some mulch here and there, and planting flowers in key spaces. This will really make that buyer's first impression a good one.
- Consider getting a storage unit to get rid of any of those unwanted or unnecessary furniture items or larger things that you don't want in the house because they take up too much space.
- You may also want to consider bringing in a third party cleaning company to do a deep clean of the home to make sure it smells good and looks really fresh to show that pride of ownership for the buyer's first impression.
